
Dr. Park was born and raised in Northern Virginia, where her family still resides. She obtained her undergraduate degree at Virginia Tech majoring in Animal and Poultry Sciences. Dr. Park continued on to veterinary school at NC State University, where she graduated with her DVM in 2017. It was halfway through veterinary school when Dr. Park developed a passion for small animal surgery with aspirations to specialize by pursuing an internship and residency. Dr. Park continued on to the University of Georgia where she completed a 1-year small animal rotating internship and then matched to a 3-year small animal residency at UC Davis. Following completion of her residency, Dr. Park returned to North Carolina and NC State College of Veterinary Medicine, re-joining the wolfpack as a faculty member (Assistant Professor) in Small Animal Soft Tissue & Oncologic Surgery. Dr. Park was there for 2.5 years serving as both a teaching faculty member as well as attending surgeon at the veterinary school and teaching hospital. There she taught veterinary students, interns, and residents, while also conducting various research studies, of performing various advanced soft tissue surgeries. Dr. Park then moved back to the Northern Virginia area to be closer to her family. She is excited to be back in the area and be a part of the Mountain View team.
In her free time, Dr. Park enjoys spending time with her dogs and family. She shows her Great Pyrenees, in addition to participating in various sports/performance activities with her dogs.
